Our turtles are now GPS equipped!

It has taken a long time for the technology to make its way through custom to Phangnga from Japan, but it’s finally here! See the video for the test run.

We are going to release our brave pilot turtles on 28th Dec 2009,

The information provided by the satellite link of our brave turtles journey will provide invaluable information for the researchers to learn about Andaman Turtles’ migration pattern, and how to increase the chances of their survival after releasing into the sea.

Marine Turtles hatched in the lab is being released back into the sea
